This book is a great read, I most definitely would recommend it. My favorite character is Elizabeth Jackson, known as Lizzy. She faces a horrible tragedy after she learns that her fiancé was killed in a accident. Although Lizzy is such a strong woman, and have a supportive family, she decides to check herself into a mental institution to cope with the pain of losing her fiancé.Lizzy gives birth a boy and names him after his father Derrick, she finishes her degree, and then moves to Atlanta to begin a new life. Lizzy teaches Derrick Jr. to be the man every woman dreamed of having. Things gets interesting and the mystery begins to unfold.....
Mr. Poe did an excellent job writing this book, it's one that I most definitely can relate too!

This was an awesome book! I enjoyed the story line, the characters, and especially the poetry. The author has a very unique style of writing. It enables the reader to gain a strong visual of the story. The story itself is not only thought provoking, but relatable as well. A must read!!!
